Family
I consider myself blessed to be born in a family of music aficionados. My mother Padma is a diploma holder in music. My father Ramachandran, being the son of the famous Vedic scholar Porumbur Narayanaswamy Sastrigal has been the most instrumental in the making of a musician in me.

My brother Somaprakash plays the mridangam and sisters Subhashree Natarajan and Jayashree Suresh are good singers.
My beloved wife Chithra is with me in all my musical endeavors and we have an eight-year-old daughter Purnima, who is learning music
